Andrew
Swift

Andrew Swift, is 35 years old and lives in Maidenhead, Berkshire with his wife and three children. He is a trustee of Share Jesus International and Chair of Christian Surfers UK. Andrew started his working career at RiM Plc where he was instrumental in establishing the procurement function. He then went on to work for Thistle Hotels where he became Senior Buyer for IT and Telecoms. At Thistle he managed a number of major projects including the procurement, installation and commissioning of 56 new PABX systems as well as two major call centres. He also drove the IT procurement strategy across 56 business sites which included consolidating spend, supplier base consolidation and introducing vendor performance. Andrew then left pocurement and became a Global Business Development Director for a US telecommunications firm. Andrews focus was on developing business in the MENA region, specifically Dubai, Jordan, KSA, Egypt and Bahrain. He returned to procurement working as an independent consultant, his clients included Holmes Place Plc, Rank Group. He also provided consultancy services to the buyingTeam for a number of clients. He now works for a media company as a Senior IT Procurement Manager.

Outside of work Andrew enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys surfing (although he misses his 4 trips a year to california!) playing golf, scuba diving and writing books. His long term goal is to own or lease hotels, a story for another time!.

Andrew has featured on a number of Christian TV shows on God TV and Revelation he has also been interviewed a number of times by BBC Berkshire, Premier Radio and Cross Rhythms - here is a selection of these still available:
